Richard Lam is a Marriage and Family Therapist Registered Intern (IMF91288) and Professional Clinical Counselor Intern (PCCI2829) under the supervision of Angela Krumm, PhD at Feeling Good Institute in Mountain View, CA, and Glen Drake, LMFT at Discovery Counseling Center in Morgan Hill, CA. Richard graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from University of California, Davis and a Master of Arts in Counseling with area of emphasis in Marriage, Family and Children from Palo Alto University.
Richard is a prelicensed member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. He is pursuing his license as a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. The advanced Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) that Richard practices is known as TEAM Therapy; created by Dr. David Burns. Testing allows Richard understand what possible problems may be bothering you by evaluating different symptoms at beginning and end of each session. Additionally, it will inform Richard of ways to improve on each session to increase success in therapy.
