Everyone worries and feels nervous every now and then. In fact, it is perfectly healthy to feel worried and nervous. You might even notice that it can be an advantage for you to feel worried and nervous. It could motivate you to study, it will protect you from getting hit by a car when walking across the street or even help you remember your next doctor’s appointment. Anxiety is when the worry, panicky, frightened and nervous feelings get too overwhelming. These feelings can take control of your life and prevent you from doing all the things that you want to do.
When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade. What if life continues to bury you in lemons? It can feel pointless to dig yourself out of the piles of lemons and make lemonade. It might even feel easier to just lay down and not do anything. Similar to lemons, suffering from the symptoms of depression becomes painful and seem as though you can’t pick yourself up.
All of your relationships are influenced by the way you interact. How do you communicate?
You just failed your midterm, your school loans are piling up, you have to work the next few weekends AND You just found out your grandpa is in the hospital. On top of all this, some idiot driver just cut you off.
